Blog Post New Entry

Why at 42, am usually the youngest?

Posted by GFC on October 29, 2009 at 11:05 PM

Why at 42 ,  am I usually one of the youngest ?  I attend tea parties, rallies and  read blogs, I feel that the World War 2 Veterans are called to step up and fight again.  I know that many of you were taught American history and lived in a time of pride in our county. At forty two I should be one of the oldest in this fight for our country.  I am sorry  your called once again, but glad to have you with me and others for this fight. I thank you ,from me and my family.

It's because in 1976, the year of our Bicentennial, there was a watershed event nobody noticed---the first graduating class of the "Open Concept" and "New Math" programs--hit the streets. Unlike those who graduated prior to these educational innovations, these folks didn't take history, civics, geography, etc. And most of them couldn't do math, either. So, via the public schools, we began a long process of "dumbing down" Americans, such that they don't know basic things, much less economic or political theory. If they are going to learn, we have to teach them. Simple as that.

You are right. My husband is a Viet Nam Vet, but hopefully the younger people will wake up before it is too late. For Frank and I we will fight as long as we can to keep this country from falling to marxism. Keep the faith. Jen
