Thank You CPG members for the most informative meeting. I was informed and was able to advise several freinds and family on how to vote. I will not be missing any meetings right before the election because they are so informative. Great information from Darcy Salmon too.

Lieutenant Charles,
I don't have a tv because I'm not an idiot, you should probably stop watching so much CNN. I'm sure you're well-versed in social welfare programs; I'm paying for those, you should probably just say "thank you." Careful! Don't get mad and say something stupid...

Kathy, one can only hope you don't vote with the Republicans. I think it's ok if you own millions and millions of corporate stock but most Americans do not. Consider the recent vote where EVERY single Republican voted in favor of continuing tax cuts to companies who ship jobs overseas. How much did you pay in taxes last year? Exxon, the worlds largest and most profitable company in the history of the world paid $0.00 in corporate income tax. Republicans in Washington are not there for our intrests, they are there do to the bidding for big business. Republicans caused the financial meltdown and before the Bush administration left office, they gave billions of our money to bail out Wall Street. That is a fact. Bush took the largest surplus in US history and turned it into the largest defecit in US history. That is a fact. If cutting taxes is good for the economy, why, under Bush, did we lose millions of jobs? The Republican argument that less taxes creates jobs is an absolute myth and the facts support it, look it up. It's no wonder Republicans hate government, every time they're in control the screw it up. That is a fact. How many Americans lost their life in Iraq securing oil fields for Bush's friends? How much money did Haliburton make off the Ira war charging $99 to wash 1 bag of laundry for a soldier? Why do we spend 3 times more on our military than every other country combined? Did you know that EVERY Republican in Washington recently voted in favor of campaign donations being annonymous? In reality, China could determine the outcome of OUR elections. Is that "patriotic"? Hell no it isn't , it's treason and it's what the Republicans wanted. There is MUCH more to a candidae than meets the eye and we only care that they are white and go to church. You owe it to your self to do some fact checking before you vote.
