The current argument requiring all providers of health care insurance to cover contraception misses a couple of significant points in my opinion. 1. Is pregnancy an illness against which the public should provide individuals with preventative care? 2. What constitutional authority have we the people given the federal government to regulate or provide healthcare. 3. Liberty to practice religion unhampered by government is a fundamental right, I can think of nothing more critical to that free practice than in issues of the sanctity of life.
